    Last Minute Holiday Host Gifts

Money and time during the Holidays really seem to be at a minimum. Your weekends quickly fill up with parties and other events that leave you with very little time to grab those small ‘thank you’ gifts you may want to grab for the host of your next party. I know that Christmas is only 5 days away, but I created a list of small gift ideas that won’t break the bank, and won’t eat up all your time.

Here are some easy DIY projects I found around the web that I would love to both give and receive! Let me know what you think.

    1. A Breakfast Basket
This idea is super simple and personally, one of my favourites! A lovely basket filled with breakfast items just seems really sweet and comforting. Hosting can be really exhausting and the idea of waking up to a planned breakfast will start their day off right. Some ideas are; fresh banana bread, with a flavoured spread, maybe some granola, and coffee. Or maybe some pancakes, syrup and tea! You can get creative, or just keep it simple.Breakfast Giftsa // Sweet Lulu Blog   b // Evermine Occasions   c // Craftberry Bush
    2. Flavoured Butter or Spread
Speaking of bread and butter; why not try making your own flavoured butter? Try one of these butter recipes, or maybe attempt making your own jam. There are so many recipes online and you can easy dress them up with a cute jar and label.Spreadable Giftsa // The Food Charlatan   b // Abbys Kitchen   c // Blackberry Babe
    3. Hot Chocolate Gift Set
This adorable idea comes in a bunch of variations around the web. I love it because its such a simple and adorable idea that can easily be paired with a card to create a complete gift that will put a smile on anyones face. Its also a great idea for people with kids; great for sharing.Hot Chocolate Giftsa // The Tomkat Studios   b // Sugar & Cloth   c // Hoosier Homemade
    4. Bath Bomb, Soap or Body Scrub
These are so simple to make and are a great way for your host to relax after the holidays are over. You can also make batches of them, making it easy for you to share this gift with a couple of people.

    5. Handmade Ornament
Who doesn’t love a new ornament for their tree? If your host celebrates Christmas this is a great way to make a custom gift that will make them smile when they see it on their tree year after year.

    6. Homemade Candle & Match Set
I came across this idea and though it may seem stilly to give people matches, they can come in handy once and a while! Plus when you pair it with a home made candle it makes an adorable gift set.

There you have it! Just a few last minute holiday host gift ideas that I thought were super cute, simple and more personal then a bottle of wine (but who doesn’t love wine?). Speaking of wine, I added a bonus gift that I think is great for any time of year…Wine Lollipops! Yes you read that right. Nothing like taking your wine game to the next level.

Enjoy this wonderful holiday season with the people around you that make your life so special. Merry Christmas everyone!
